The Nambiti Game Park has really excellent BIG GAME viewing. A Big 5 Game Park although the eluisve leopard are rarely seen. This is made up for by excellent sightings of cheetah. Besides the numerous animals the birdlife is also prolific.

Esiweni offers five, luxurious, individual suites. Each suite has an indoor shower and expansive views from the bath as well as the private, outdoor shower. Two of the suites are interconnected for use as a family unit. Each suite has under-floor heating for cold winter nights and overhead ceiling fans for use in summer. The honeymoon suite has a private, outdoor bath making the most of the views across the valley. Fully opening patio doors lead onto a private deck where one may enjoy the wonderful views of the Sundays River, the waterfall and valley below.

The décor of the main lodge is quite elegant, with a colonial safari theme. Large, stone fireplaces warm the lounge and dining areas during the cold nights in winter. In fine  weather, outdoor dining overlooking the valley is served on the large wooden deck. After the  game drives, one can enjoy the lazy atmosphere at the lodge or suntan and swim in their rim-flow pool. At Esiweni Lodge, delicious meals with a range of excellent South African wines are offered. Dinners can be in the outdoor boma whilst a private dinner in their intimate wine cellar can be arranged.

Early morning and late afternoon guided game drives are conducted by an experienced  guide in comfortable open sided game-viewing vehicles. Night drives, where one may enjoy and learn about the stars of the Southern Hemisphere in skies free of light and pollution, are also on offer.
