Nambiti Plains Lodge is a five star Lodge situated amongst the indigenous forest, right on the edge of a waterhole, in the Nambiti Private Game Reserve, close to Ladysmith in KwaZulu-Natal.

There is wonderful game viewing from the Lodge with the open safari vehicle game drives affording really good sightings of a wide diversity of animals which includes Big Game such as rhino, elephant, buffalo, giraffe and hippo.

Relax with a cocktail on the deck or at the Nambiti Plains Bar or go for a swim in the pool and watch as the animals quietly drink from the waterhole. In the evenings look forward to sumptuous dinners in the boma, guests seated around the fire under a canopy of stars.

The Nambiti Plains Lodge offers five luxury suites thus accommodating a maximum of ten guests, this ensuring privacy and exclusivity. Each suite is equipped with private verandas, sun loungers, outdoor table and chairs, indoors there are overhead fans, under floor heating, mini bars, mosquito nets, romantic free-standing bath tubs, indoor showers, outdoor showers (not in the two family suites), tea and coffee facilities, hairdryers, torch, adaptors, insect sprays. The family suite accommodates four guests with two persons sharing per suite. The family suite is accessed by a common entrance leading to two totally separate and private rooms. The two rooms are separated by a solid stone wall ensuring privacy.

Nambiti Plains’ main Lodge area offers a reading nook, cozy lounge with fireplace, separate dining room which has two fireplaces, there is a separate bar area, an expansive viewing deck and an outdoor  lounge which overlooks the waterhole, swimming pool and open boma.
